Hello,
I'm at a dead end today, my PC crashed while I was playing a game and upon reboot it went staight into automatic repair, I tried resetting the PC several times but its comes up with the same thing.
I've gone into the command prompt to view the drives but upon listing the drives my C:\ has been changed to E:\ and the System Reserved had been become my C:\ drive.
There are 2 more partitions on this drive one is for Games (this is my SSD) and another is just a 450MB drive that I do not know what it is from.
I have made some progress as I managed to change the C:\ back to my main drive but it still will not boot.
I have tried to fix the MBR (with bootrec /fixmbr) and that says operation was successful. I tried to use /fixboot but it says access is denied, and /rebuildbcd just returns that there are no windows installations.
I have tried to run bcdboot but it says failure when attempting to copy boot files.
I know the computer is picking up my windows installation to an extent because it is asking for the password to my account when I try to access the user account.
I feel like tearing my hair out at this point, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
