I've been having some trouble with my computer for a while now, and today something happened that has me really anxious. But first some background info:

The PC is about 5 years old now, and I had to replace the hard drive after 3 years, in 2016. Up until then I had had essentially no problems with the computer at all. Started having more problems last year. Last October I moved the PC and set up in another room for a few hours, then moved back. When I tried to move back to its usual spot it would not turn on, or it would turn on and then freeze up, or I'd get a blue screen. I tried unplugging and replugging, and slightly adjusting the plugs. I moved it back to the room I had set up in earlier, and it wouldn't turn on or would freeze over there too. I moved it back to its original position and after adjusting the power cord a few times it finally turned on and has been working fine (except for a recent problem I am about to explain) ever since. Because of this previous issue that had happened last year, I have not moved the PC at all for fear that it won't turn back on.

In the last few months I have started to notice what I think might be graphics card or power supply problems (I told the previous story because I wonder if the two are related). It started with the screen going green while I was editing videos, and sometimes while watching Hulu (only Hulu, and not any other programs). I would have to restart the computer to get the green screen to go away.

In the last few weeks I have noticed some glitching on my left monitor when watching shows through Amazon Prime Video. Just a few lines of pixels being discolored for a couple seconds and then going back to normal. Seems to only happen when watching Amazon videos.

Yesterday the whole monitor went black, but was still completely on. I was watching Netflix and used my right monitor to close Netflix, then brought it right back and it worked fine. Now today. I was watching tv on the right monitor and playing a game with the left. Suddenly right monitor popped up with "monitor power lock on." It did this a couple of times in about 10 minutes. Then monitor shut off a few minutes later (shut off the whole monitor, had to use monitor power button to turn it back on). I turned it back on and it turned off again a few minutes later. I switched my tasks around and moved the game to the right monitor and tv to the left monitor, but the right monitor continued to shut off randomly (never more than 10 minutes apart). I shut off the game and the right monitor hasn't shut off since then.

It may be worth noting that we have a bug problem in our apartment and they could have gotten into my PC (like I said I haven't moved it since the first incident). I really don't have the money to buy a new computer and I work from home so I rely pretty heavily on this thing. Thank you for reading my long post and trying to help. Please let me know if you know what the problem is or if you know what I can try to troubleshoot the problem. I've been able to fix most of my computer problems myself (I replaced my own hard drive) but google isn't helping me this time.

Tl;dr: screen keeps going green/black, monitor recently started turning off randomly, might be related to a problem where my computer seems to only receive full power from the outlet if the plug is positioned juuuust right?
