Hi, so I had to install this new router because the old one apparently broke down (it's my grandma's), however the second telephone line does not work.
Here's some information about the situation and what I tried;
There are two phones, one downstairs and one upstairs. The router has two VOIP openings. There are no ports forwarded in the firmware. (nor where there any ports forwarded for VOIP in the old, now broken router).
Both phones work when their line is plugged into the first VOIP port, so both phones actually work.
I am able to make calls so I'm thinking that all settings are set up properly, though I am not sure.
I am able to see what is recognized by the router in the firmware and it shows that the DSL line is on (as it should be), but it shows that only the second VOIP port is 'on'. Just for clarity, the second VOIP port has not worked so far.
Furthermore, it has the first VOIP port grayed out, meaning disconnected. (While it isn't and it has been working so far.)
I didn't find much on google, nor in an online manual. Lastly, I do not have a VOIP tab in the firmware (The provider might have removed that for their customers). Reason I bolded 'tab', is because there are some VOIP settings I have access to, but I might not be able to access all of them.
I am able to screenshot information and settings you might want to look at.
I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out!
