Hey all, hopefully I am in the right place.
Basically I have a Netgear CM400 Modem that is hardwired to a Netgear WNR2000v5 with the latest firmware.
We were on a 75/5 connection, but today upgraded to a 250/15 for more upload wiggle room. I went to testing after we had upgraded and power cycled everything. I was maxing download at 60 or so megabits, but upload was 12-14 which is slightly low, but totally fine.
So I went hardwired straight from modem to PC and easily hit the 250/15 mark.
Is there some kind of setting that is limiting me on my WNR2000v5 modem? The only thing that is really changed is that we moved to auto wifi band but that shouldn't be affecting hardwired PC's. No QoS, WMM is turned off, NAT filtering is open, and everything else should be standard. There are no other devices on the network besides this PC and nothing is downloading or anything.
Am I missing some kind of setting? This router should be good to go up to 300mbps according to their manual but it's dropping a whopping 210mbps of my speed off for no apparent reason.
