Hello, my sister's laptop power brick is broken.
She managed to find an older laptops power brick but a few questions rose to the surface.

Is it safe to use? I'm worried about the symbols, is the asus one a positive polarity and the Toshiba negative?
According to this https://i.stack.imgur.com/tAAzk.gif both of them are "Tip Positive" even though the + and - are in the different order.
I know what can happen if there is a reverse polarity and I have no idea if the laptop in question has polarity protection.
Also, I read somewhere that the ampere difference doesn't matter, as long as the voltage and polarity are the same.
The laptop is Asus X751M.
