Hi, I'm trying to open port 443 on Centos 7 using:
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 443 -j ACCEPT service iptables save service iptables restart
But when I try any port checker they all say port 443 is closed!
I tried:
sudo netstat -lnp | grep 443
And got:
tcp6 0 0 :::443 :::* LISTEN 10405/httpd
Which for my understanding means Apache is listening to this port!
The port is indeed inside of the iptables file and above the -J REJECT as some sites suggested, but is still closed according to every port checker, and now I cannot install a certificate on the website because of this!
Any help will be really appreciated.
