Hi everyone,
For the past 10 hours or so I've been going insane trying to free up space on my girl friends notebook just to install office. This all started after an update file was to large and I had the brilliant idea to uninstall then try to reinstall office. Now of course I've been battling with the forces of hell trying to free up space to even reinstall it.
Basically all programs, apps and files have been removed. countless runs of disk cleaner, commands to turn off hibernation, uninstalling updates but the storage keeps going up the more I free.
From what I can tell it seems a ton of windows 10 updates have back up over the year and keep taking the place of any space I make.
In the end I decided to just start from scratch and perform a factory reset but to my amazement I can't because there's not enough space do even do one.
I've also tried to install windows 10 to USB harddrive and install from there but again same problem.
I refuse to give up but I'm out of options, ive spent hours browsing forums trying multiple solution's but nothing has helped. Please if anyone has any ideas it will make my day.
The device is;
HP Stream Laptop 14-ax0XX 32GB Windows 10 I understand the space is incredibly small and can pretty much only fit windows 10 on but I just want to run office.
