Hello I have a dell XPS 9560 and a new screen an LG 34UM88-P. Just got the screen, absolutely love it. However I can't figure out what's the optimal way to connect it. I used to use a USB-c to HDMI adapter and that's not good so that's out.
HDMI to HDMI seems obvious and works fine.
But then I noticed the screen is full of USB and thunderbolt connections so my thought was to go thunderbolt to thunderbolt and be able to get equal or better image quality / fps and at the same time use the screen's ports...
Only thing is I can't figure out for the life of me how to connect my USB type C thunderbolt 3 port to the screen's type 2 ports.
My first thought is it must be a simple cable, didn't find any. Found an Apple overpriced adapter (ofc). So am I going about this wrong? I thought thunderbolt was supposed to be the magical solution to all my connectivity problems so after 6 years of having the damn thing on my computers I'd like to try it :'\
TL;DR Thunderbolt 3 to 2 to connect computer to screen is this the right way about it. Should I stick to HDMI or am I missing something obvious?
