I have recently started my first overclocking attempt on my new PC build (I'll leave specs below), and I have run into a few problems.

I have used MSI Afterburner, Valley Benchmark, 3DMark Timespy, and CineBench R15 to overclock my CPU and GPU. Managing to get the CPU to 5 GHz @ 1.385 V and the GPU to +200 to the Core and +600 to the memory with +43% to the power.

I am able to run Valley Benchmark fine getting a benchmark score of ~4750 at Extreme HD, and can leave Valley on repeat for hours with no problems. I can run CineBench and get ~1230 for the CPU score.

The problem comes with 3DMark Timespy and running games (GTA V). When I run the 3DMark Timespy Benchmark I can get a GPU Score of around 7700 however when the cpu test begins I start of at ~70 fps and then the test just crashes and there are no changes to my gpu (Just to add I have successfully completed the cpu test with these settings prior to making some changes to my gpu with a score of ~6600). And then when running GTA around 30mins - 1 Hour into playing I get a crash where my displays flash and my gpu is reset to factory settings.

Any advice is very much appreciated.
