I’ve got a Samsung (model UN55KU7000), and occasionally when I’m playing video games it, I’ll get ENORMOUS screen tearing. You’ll be able to watch the tear travel down the TV over the course of 4-5 seconds, and the area above the tear will be like a full half second ahead of the part below the tear. I should probably note that it happens regardless of which system I’m playing on, although all of them route through a sound system.

It doesn’t happen every time I’m playing, but it probably happens at least once every few days.

I’m just wondering if I should take this in to make a claim on the warranty or not. Is this a sign of a defect that’ll kill the TV early on in its life?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
