The P2P setup I have is extremely simple: Every PC has its user folder shared. I made sure all options are enabled under "Advanced File Sharing" on every computer.
On the Mac side, I am also sharing the user folders through AFP and SMB.
It seems quite random which computers actually show up in Finder/File Explorer. For instance, my PC is only showing itself at the moment, but my MacBook Pro is showing the other MacBook Pro and a different PC.
Never have I seen every computer that is currently on the network shown. I always have to manually enter \Name-PC\ or smb://Name-PC to connect to the computer I want to access.
All the Windows machines are running the latest stable build of Windows 10 with all updates applied, and both Macs are running 10.13.4, the latest version.
Anyone have an idea why this would be? Thanks.
