Moved my rig to new case. Now, it refuses to boot with the GPU installed.-News of the United States was founded in 1933 by David Lawrence (1888-1973), which also started the World Report in 1946. The two magazines are covering national and international news separately, but Lawrence combines them into news reports of U.S. in World and 1948 [1] and Later sold the magazine to its employees. Historically, this magazine tends to be a bit more conservative than the two main competitors, Time and Newsweek, and focus more on the story of economic, health, and education. It's also distancing news, entertainment and sports celebrities. [2] an important milestone in the history of the beginning of the magazine is including the introduction of the "Washington Whispers" column in 1934 and the column "News You Can Use" in 1952. [3] [4] in 1958, the circulation of the weekly magazine passed one million and two million in 1973. (wikipedia) Moved my rig to new case. Now, it refuses to boot with the GPU installed.

I tried posting this in r/buildapc yesterday, but no dice. Here's hoping you guys can help.

Basically, title. There are no new components, no changed cables, nothing. I just moved from a Corsair 600Q to a Define R6, because my HDDs were getting too hot, a known flaw of the 600Q. I've banged my head against the problem for about two hours now most of last night, and nothing works. This is nowhere near my first build, and, as I said, the rig worked fine two days ago in the old case. Unfortunately, the only similar threads I can find on Google are from first-time builders who forgot to plug in the 8-pin or something. Things I've tried:

  • Resetting CMOS, obviously (though I can't pull the actual battery, because of ASUS' ridiculous motherboard "armor")
  • Replugging the 6+8 PSU->GPU cables
  • Plugging the PSU cables into the VGA2 slot on the PSU, rather than VGA1
  • Plugging the GPU into all three PCIe slots on my board
  • Blowing out the PCIe slots and connectors (breath, not compressed air)
  • Unplugging every other peripheral and trying to boot with just the GPU
  • Unplugging one RAM stick
  • Leaving the GPU connected to the PSU, but not plugged into the PCIe slot (This got me to POST, but I obviously can't use the GPU.)

At this point, I have no idea what else to try. I'm almost at the point of putting everything back into the old case (blegh) and trying it from there, though it doesn't make a damn bit of sense why the same build would work in one mid-tower case, but not another. Anyone think they can help a brother out here?
