At this point I tried everything and I still can’t access the desktop (windows 10) For the past few days my laptop has been in a “automatic repair “ loop showing me a blue screen with the words “your pc did not start correctly”.
1) Restarting does nothing
2) System restore failed to get me out of the loop ( it’s not not an option since my pc can’t find a point to go back to)
3) tried a couple of cmd prompts like sfc /scannow which tells me “ windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation”
4) bootrec /fixboot doesn’t work and tells my “access denied” (all other bootrec prompts don’t show a problem )
5) I tried disabling a few programs in safe mode....still stuck in loop
6)chksdk /r c: .....failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50
7) tried to reset pc to keep my files but it failed to
8) I tried dell backup and recovery but since I no longer have a system restore point it won’t work
At this point I won’t be surprised if I try to do factory reset and a problem will pop up Please I just want to use my laptop again I have midterms and projects coming up. Thanks reddit.
Edit: at this point I don’t mind if the solution involved wiping my drive clean.
