Hello !

I've recently bought an SSD and I've wanted to install windows 10 on it (Currently I've got an HDD with Windows 7 on it that I would like to keep as it is, and another HDD that doesn't have any OS on it) but I've run into the same problem every single time: I can boot from my USB key, the blue windows screen appears but then my screen just goes black even though my computer keeps on running.

Here's everything that I've tried so far regarding my USB key, considering I've always used Microsoft media creation:

  • I used Media creation and tried to directly create a bootable key
  • I used Media creation to create an ISO, then I used Rufus to create a bootable key (in NTFS, not in FAT32)
  • I've tried those two things with two different usb keys.

Here's what I've tried when booting:

  • Unplugging both my HDDs
  • Disabling secure mode

Also, I don't know if it's of any use, but when I tried to boot from my SSD (which is completely empty) to see what would happen, the exact same thing occured (so blue windows logo then black screen), just as if I were trying to boot from my USB key.

I'm really running out of ideas, so any help is highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and have a good day !
