Okay, interesting question/problem for any computer savvy people out there.
My GALAX GTX 980 Ti originally ran its fans via a 4-pin PWM controller/port on the card. One of the fans on the card stopped spinning, and only slightly turns on boot for less than a second before stopping. The other two fans spin perfectly fine. I believe this controller is not working anymore for the first fan, so I switched to having my fans for GPU hooked up to motherboard via PWM cable. If I run PWM on motherboard BIOS setting the problematic fan does not spin, but the other two work fine.
The moment I switch the fan control over to DC, all three fans spin like nothing ever happened.
Is it possible to reconnect my fans to the GPU, and configure the GPU to run in DC instead of PWM? Not really sure if it is even possible at all.
My goal is to have the fans hooked up to the card, and all three spinning again.
