iPhone screens
Ok so I’m not an iPhone expert, but replacing screens isn’t that hard as long as I review a video (different versions of iPhone have slightly different steps) he gave me his phone and gave me the replacement screen he ordered. I didn’t really think much about the new screen until I disassembled the old one and had everything ready to switch over. A couple of things I noticed, first the plug that you use to connect the home button to the screen just isn’t there... I don’t know if I’m missing something but if you look at the picture you can clearly see it’s there on the old one and not on the new one. Also the screens have other differences. I noticed the thing that indicates force touch wasn’t there on the new one. I didn’t know if maybe he got a cheaper version that didn’t have force touch. But the screws on the home button are also different. 2 on the old screen, 3 on the new one. After doing some research it does appear as though the new screen is actually for an iPhone 6 Plus, not 6S plus. Can anyone confirm this? And why is the plug for the home button not there? I’m thinking the guy got a screen from a really cheap place... but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
