I've never posted in this section, i apologize if i'm not doing it correctly.
I purchased my first smart phone this week, an IPhone SE. I took a few short videos of my girls this Easter with it, and then connected it to my computer and downloaded them to the PC. The PC is running Windows 7 64 bit. Windows movie maker says it can not burn the files because they are .mov files. I tried downloading a codec packet and I was then able to add the videos to the movie maker, but it only gets to 11% in the encoding process before it fails.
I then downloaded BurnAware free. Under "multimedia" i selected DVD-Video. I added the files, and burned a disk. Then i tried it on a dvd player adn a blu ray player, neither recognized the disk.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction? I'm not good with tech at all but would really like to have my kids videos on dvd. Thank you
