I recently bought a new 3TB harddrive to replace my old and about to fail 500GB HDD. To make the transition as easy as possible and to keep all my data. I cloned the partion off my old one to my new HDD and tried to add the remain ~2.5 TB to the already existing partion. But unfortunately the partion size can't exeed 2TB in total and neither can I make a new partion with the remaining disk space even though all the space is showing up. So until I can find a solution to this problem I can only use 2TB of my hard drive. The hard drive is formated in NTFS and the data is fine and usable, so there is no issue with data on the drive itsself. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance for any help :)
