What I'd like to do (whether it be on Microsoft OneDrive or MEGA for example) is login into my account before being able to access my files. Currently if you install the desktop version of these programs, all of your data is accessible offline regardless of whether or not your signed in for syncing. You go to file explorer and on the left there will be pinned access to your cloud folder. Even if you "remove" it, it's still available if you go to the file location.
I want the security of signing in first before I sync/access any files rather than just having everything there offline.
