Com'è notorio, George Soros era stato fortemente critico verso l'ascesa del Bitcoin.

dopo lo stesso discorso del finanziere e filantropo a
Davos il Bitcoin aveva perso il 41% del suo valore e da quel momento Soros aveva iniziato a cambiare idea(2).
Difatti, il noto finanziere e fondatore della ONG 'Open Society' aveva espresso alcuni commenti favorevoli verso la tecnologia sottostante il Bitcoin, la 'blockchain', sostenendo che avrebbe potuto avere potenzialità positive.
Inoltre, negli ultimi giorni Soros sta pensando anche ad una possibilità di investimento e, stando a quanto riportato su Bloomberg(3), il gestore dei macro-investimenti del 'Soros Fund Management' Adam Fisher potrebbe presto iniziare a fare trading sullo stesso Bitcoin e su altre monete virtuali.
