I'm going to move to a bigger house soon and I know that my current single Wifi router will not be able to provide the whole house with a proper signal.
I'd like to get some kind of MESH set up, with a wired backbone and I'm looking for advice on possible set ups. The setup I'll have will be:
- Several hand-held devices, phones and tablets.
- One or more laptops connecting through WiFi.
- Two Gaming oriented PC's, connected with cabled ethernet.
- 2 chromecast devices.
- 2 interactive TV set ups, also wired.
I'd like to have a single network for me and my family, without the hassle of having to see which Wifi I'm connected to when I go up or down a floor.
The ability to restrict access on selected devices. (For when the kids are annoying) And, optionally a guest network for when I have people over.
What kind of options would be suitable for something like this? And what kind of budget should I consider?
