I have recently installed a new SSD and since then I have had a few problems of my pc booting. I switched the sata cords when I was doing it to get the SSD to fit in the case. After that I got the computer to boot fine and have been running fine for about 2 weeks (other than having to switch in bios which drive to boot on). But yesterday I restarted my computer as the internet was not connecting. Since then windows 10 has not appeared as a boot option for me when starting the computer, only a non genuine old version of windows 7 where I still can not connect to the internet.
I did not reinstall my os it has been on the same hard drive for years. I still have access to the windows files on the hard drive but it will not boot.
Any help would be great as I am stumped at this point and I really don't want to buy windows 10 now that it is not free.
