I was trying to set up a mic I have on my new headset. This new headset is 3.5mm.
So I go into properties and select listen to this device through and select headphones. Now that buzzing you get from shitty inline mics came on, but when I told it to stop listening. It didn't....
Now I have a constant buzzing like it's listening to the mic and it will not go away.
I've tried uninstalling the device and drivers. I've listened to other mics I have. I've plugged in other headsets. Restarted and shutdown the computer. I've restarted the windows audio services. I've tried setting it up as a virtual 7.1. I've disabled everything that's not the headset.
When I disable or plug the headset into something else, it works fine. No buzzing, but as soon as it's registered as a device in windows, it starts the fucking buzzing again. I'm at a loss for what to do.
