So HDD 1 is dying. Can i create a recovery drive and reinstall windows via that onto HDD 2?
Long story short though, I'm pretty sure my hard drive is on it's last leg and I'm going to swap it out. However, I cloned it previously and I was wondering if I could just fresh install from the recovery drive maintaining my license of the OEM version if possible? I personally just think this seems way easier. I also don't want to shell out the cash for an actual key of windows atm. This is on a laptop if any of that makes a difference.
