Sorry if this is not the right subreddit for this but I'm not sure where to post this.

So here a resume of what happened to me. Since maybe 2015 I removed myself from Facebook completely. (Not much interest in it) I had around 200 friends.

So Yesterday my sister called me asking : Did you open a new facebook account?
She then showed me the fake profil

This person was pretending to be me only with my name (there was no picture on the profil).

Now here is the weird thing : that person added 2 member of my family, + 1 person from my old school (2005)
and the weirdest of all he added a person I worked with (around 2006) even on my official facebook, i never had that person added as a friend since i never knew that person family name.

My only guess is that something scanned my contact or email address (since 2006) and then automatically added them? But i have gmail 2-step verification.

I don't understand how can this happen.
Just to precise (I don't have a big social life and I have no enemy.) So I don't think it could have been someone that truly know me. But then again i'm not removing that possibility.

I asked the few people I know to report that false profil

What do you think it could be? And I'm wondering if I should start fresh and change email completely.

Thank you!
