Description of problem
Before this had occurred, I've been using this setup for quite a long time. Everything was plugged in, so when I checked device manager, it read that the PS/2 USB driver (keyboard) and the Microsoft Nano Transceiver 1.1 (mouse) weren't installed, which makes no sense since I've used my keyboard and mouse for a few months now. Both were connected to a USB hub so I quickly put them into the actual USB slots on the laptop with no luck. KEY NOTE: It says that both are in a Code 28.
Other relevant info
I am using a Rii Rk100 keyboard and a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1850. The USB hub I use is a Sabrent Model HB-UMLS. Both have Code 28 on PS/2 USB and Microsoft Nano Transceiver 1.1 Drivers. Also, I checked the event details before and after and both say that they've been configured to null on 3/2/18, despite myself never even touching the drivers. I also have a Wacom Tablet set up on the same USB hub and it is unaffected.Before I shut down the laptop, I was playing GMOD (everything still worked up until I turned it on afterwards). I was messing around and it did freeze the laptop so I used the power button to shut it down. Odd thing is though, I've powered it off using the power button on a few occasions that this type of thing shouldn't happen, at least to my knowledge.

What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
Unplugged and re-plugged devices on the USB HUB (nothing happens) Update the drivers (said that it couldn't find anything online) Used pre-installed default drivers for the keyboard and mouse (but that ended up being a Code 10 - it was unable to start) Uninstalling and scanned for hardware changes (brought me back to square one) Restarted my computer on multiple occasions Shut down and turning on my computer on multiple occasions Used the troubleshooter (determined that I needed to restart my computer but still didn't work)
