Me and some others helped a friend of mine put together her first PC. Put it all together with Windows 10 and booted to find some issues. Ironed them out, figured we'd finish the rest of the problems later, and then waited on the SSD to arrive.
Wiped the HDD, flashed a new BIOS to be friendlier with the CPU, and put Windows 10 on the SSD. Windows Update to most recent. Installed drivers from manufactures website and still issues occur. Uninstalled drivers let Windows put the ones it wanted in from Windows Update and it briefly fixed it.
We still occasionally get either a system freeze or a full crash with BSOD. Most recent one was a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with it signifying that Netwtw04.sys failed. Previous BSOD gave us DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, MEMORY_MANAGMENT, REGISTRY_ERROR, FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION with FLTMGR.SYS as the failure, and (finally) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. Other times simply the internet cutting out for up to a minute at a time.
I thought I was pretty tech savvy but I'm at my wits end here. Seriously considering that there is a faulty piece of hardware or some of the components not playing nice with each other but I'm not entirely sure how to test that. Often times the PC isn't under much load when they occur (playing Terraria/browsing the web).
The obvious thing to do is to boot in safemode and slowly turn stuff on which we'll be doing later but I'd figure I'd get some outside opinion in the meantime. Although we can always get to desktop and do other things easily. There also seems to be no rhyme or reason on when the freezing or BSOD occurs.
