When restarting my computer while on the bios startup screen the message 'please wait while the system is updated' appeared, the screen stayed like this for a couple of minutes before going black.
I left the computer hoping it had just gone dark while updating but it has now been like this for over 12 hours, the internal components are lit up and the fans are running but the readout on the motherboard is blank and the light on the restart button is off.
I'm worried that switching it off and on will risk bricking the motherboard so if anyone knows any other potential solutions I would be really grateful.
