Okay so first, I went into Device Manager, display adapters, and the only listed one was "microsoft basic display adapter", updated it to see if it would display my gpu name, but it just came up with this: https://imgur.com/a/GvcPn

So I uninstalled the "microsoft basic display adapter", switched off my PC, took out my GPU and placed it back in again. Went to the listed display adapters and it seemed like the previous name was renamed to "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)". Tried updating, same thing.

Any help with this?

e: I should add I tried downloading NVIDIA drivers manually by going to their website. Downloaded the 32 and 64 bit versions but it said it wasn't compatible with my current windows version. I'm on the latest version :/
