Title says it all. Recently, I noticed a dip in game performance and saw that games weren't detecting my Radeon 8700M card. Checking Device Manager, the card is not shown and all that is there is the onboard Intel 4000 graphics.
When right clicking the desktop or an app, I used to have an option from AMD for "Graphics Properties" or something like that, which would open the AMD Settings menu and let me change to High Performance and enable the card. This option isn't there anymore.
I have the Samsung NP880Z5E with Win 10.
I've tried just about everything. I downloaded the Samsung driver updater (SW Update) and downloaded the graphics driver update, but running the Install.exe shows a loading window and then it completes with no changes. It also came with a folder containing Catalyst Install Manager, but when I run this, it fails - presumably because it isn't detecting my card.
I tried downloading the AMD driver detector, none of the drivers from their site worked. I can't run Catalyst Control Center because it's not detecting my card.
Is there anyone who might be able to help with this? It's turned my laptop into a brick and it's driving me crazy.
I just tried refreshing windows and starting from scratch, but no luck.
Let me know if any more specs/info are needed.
