I've had my PC since 2013. i5 3570k@4.4Ghz, 16GB DDR3 2166Mhz RAM, GTX 1070, Win 10 2016 LTSB.
These errors (exception access violation) started occuring fairly recently around January/February and only occurs when playing more demanding games. It never happens with regular programs or smaller indie games.
I've tried many solutions with no success, from pagefile/admin access/compability mode/reinstalling drivers, with the most drastic changes being a reinstall of windows (From Win10 1709 to LTSB) and pulling out and testing different RAM configurations (4 sticks of ram, tried with two sticks/seperately), with no success. I find it hard to imagine than every ram stick is faulty.
I've scanned with malwarebytes twice just in case.
I've also tried 4 passes with memtest86, which found no issues with the ram.
I have no idea if it's hardware, or software related.
