Description of problem
Hello guys, first time poster here.I have been having trouble with my screens and new GPU. The displays in question are two dell SE2416H screens. They are connected to my GPU with two HDMI cables. Occasionally a screen will go black for a moment and come back as if nothing happened. One screen had the tendency to do it a lot more so i thought it was the screen. After switching the HDMI cables around (and the which monitor connects to which port on the GPU) i saw that even the second screen would flicker (although less often). The frequency of the black outs varies. Sometimes only one happens in a 4 hour period, while other times i will have multiple in under a hour. I didn't have this problem before when i was using my old AMD HD 7700 GPU with the same build.Also an extra note that may be important: The motherboard isn't fully connected to the PSU, of the 6 available pins only 4 are filled, i didn't buy a new PSU because the local tech guy told me it wouldn't be a problem. But the new GPU draws power exclusively from the motherboard so i don't know if that could be the issue. Thanks in advance.

What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
Some of the fixes i already tried: installing drivers for my screens, updating my GPU drivers and updating to windows 10. I also borrowed a higher quality (v 1.4) HDMI cable and tried running only one screen and would still get a flicker.
