PC locks up randomly, particularly when I'm trying to install Windows 10-News of the United States was founded in 1933 by David Lawrence (1888-1973), which also started the World Report in 1946. The two magazines are covering national and international news separately, but Lawrence combines them into news reports of U.S. in World and 1948 [1] and Later sold the magazine to its employees. Historically, this magazine tends to be a bit more conservative than the two main competitors, Time and Newsweek, and focus more on the story of economic, health, and education. It's also distancing news, entertainment and sports celebrities. My PC has always occasionally locked up (in its current build at least..). The only way to recover from this is to do a hard reset (hold power button in for a few seconds). It's never been frequent enough for me to do anything about it, maybe once a month, other times maybe twice a day. But I am currently trying to go from Win 7 to Win 10 pro, and trying to do a clean install from a USB stick to an SSD. I keep getting my PC lock up at roughly the same place. After it has copied the files and done the setting up, it then reboots and in the bottom centre says 'Getting devices ready xx%' and typically freezes around here.
I tried removing one stick of ram at a time, but no improvement. I then tried removing everything I could, such as my gpu and using the onboard graphics, then unplugging all internal audio and usb connectors. Only thing left was my wireless network card. This time it did get further, to the point where I'd selected keyboard layout etc, to where I select a wireless network. This time it locked up while I was half way through typing the wireless password.
Fortunately I'm not too stuck because I took the precaution of cloning my Windows 7 system disk before embarking on this, so I've just swapped back to that until I can resolve the issue.
Can anyone help?
(I have a feeling it may be the mobo, as other parts have been upgraded while the problem has existed, with no change...)
