So I'm in a very strange situation. I attempted to flash the BIOS of an MSI A320M PRO-VD Plus motherboard via MSI M-Flash as I was having issues with Windows crashing due to a clock watchdog timeout error. The flash seemed to go okay but I forgot the USB I was using had a Linux boot installed on it. I think that may have messed things up when the board reset after the flash finished. Now here's the thing. The board still POSTs and is able to load into Windows. If I try to enter the BIOS menu a small fraction of the normal menu loads and nothing is responsive making m flash unusable (does not even appear). Additionally the select boot device menu does not function making it impossible to attempt to flash the BIOS again via that method. The only method I can think of to fix this is to use the MSI live update to flash the BIOS from Windows. However the updater reads my system as having the latest bios so the option to update it is not present. Only thing I can think of at this point is to hope a newer bios is released and update to it via live update. Anyone know how I might fix this? The bios is soldered to the board so a USB flasher is a non option and I'd rather like to avoid using one of these things:
