This is a major annoyance I am having at the moment. For a little while now my monitor's have never worked from issueing a restart. They will just be on standby. I've always had to do a proper shutdown and cold boot for them to actually turn on. They turn on fine when it is a cold boot.
This is a major pain for when it comes to things like software updates and windows updates, that require restarts to complete.
Decided to finally bite the bullet and try figure this out. Thought I might reinstall windows, but oh wait I cant... :(
Tried connecting to the motherboard as well directly instead of the GPU, and the same thing happens.
Would anyone have any ideas at all? Googling is turning up next to nothing
