I've been having a unique issue with the program flux flickering on my iMac 21.5 inch Late 2015 model running sierra 10.12.6. I have done lots of searching to resolve my particular issue, and all that I have attempted do not work.
The issue: Every .5-1 second, it alternates between the adjusted flux color to the normal white profile constantly. Just flickering. It's a monitor an employee uses who gets extensive migraines with white coloring on the monitor, and it's plagued us for a week with no sense to it.
Attempted fixes: Rebooting, resetting the SMC, resetting the NVRAM/PRAM, unchecking the "Automatically adjust brightness" in settings.
I have attempted other similar programs such as Iris but they too flicker.
I have also tried the onboard Night Shift mode, but it has limited color range and it is not effective enough for my employees migraines to subside. I've also tried it on other monitors in the office to replace hers with but they have the exact same issue.
It began occurring after a power outage, but worked flawlessly before.
Please help! Her sanity and morale depend on it. (And mine, by now. )
