For a little background, I moved to a 30 yr old condo complex where each room has a telephone jack. I added pictures of two of them.
The technician that installed our modem/router and cable tv used a coaxial cable with a dual splitter in the living room to obtain access. ( One to the wifi modem and one to the TV box )

My two questions are:

Can I use another similar coaxial cable in the house to run an alternate modem? There's a coax in my bedroom that I believe runs on the same system.. I can't say for sure because I can't move the router. ( everyone uses it .. possibly this Sunday I can try )

On the assumption that this coax cable does work.. can I hook up another router, and plug this secondary router into the phone jack system and receive wired internet connection from all the other phone jacks in the house? I read online that a daisy chain system would not work..let's hope that's not the case.
