Hi there. I need your help, pc gurus!

First of all, my rig:

GTX 970

I5 4690K (4.2)

8GB DD3 1600

MSI Z97-G43

630W ThermalTake Berlin

WD10EZEX 1TB 7200rpm'

Win 10 x64 Pro / Win 7 X64 PRO (I had it before the win10)

FPS drops occures after playing games, such as BF1 or AC:U or even CSGO (but here is a bit different situation) for an unidentified period of time, which is usually about 30 min. What kind of drops is it? What does it look like? Okay, well, it's easy. You play a game with golden constant 60 fps for about a half an hour, then a huge fps drop occures. It goes down to less than 10 fps in a blink of an eye. There are some moments I'd like you to know.

  • GPU and CPU Clocks and voltage remains

  • CPU usage goes to like around 30 and GPU usage remains the same

  • There is no throttling (not cpu, nor gpu), as clocks and voltage remain

  • Temps are fine (GPU less 70-75, CPU less than 70)

  • Power mode is on max performance

  • Vsync in nvidia control panel is managed by a program)

  • Installing win 10 instead of win 7 does not help

  • All windows metro features are deleted (XBOX DVR solution makes no sense)

  • Installing older GPU driver does not help

  • Disabling and enabling superfetch does not help

  • HDMI cable is connected to the GPU (not motherboard)

  • Scanning with antimalware stuff does not help (hitman pro, malwarebytes, etc.)

  • Seems to be most mysterious: After the drop occured, you exit the game and windows is still laggy! I mean that windows interface lags and stutters. You can barely use the PC. Moreover, I found out that when the lags after leaving the game occure CPU usage rises to 100%

  • Process Explorer didnt tell me anything interesting. It's very difficult to use the system after leaving the game. Reboot helps. While I'm playing there is nothing odd in a process list.

  • CSGO. There is no that huge drop. The average fps itself is a way lower than it was before such lags and drops has occured (about a couple of moths ago). 70-140 instead of 250-300. Lowering settings does not help (fps lowers as well). Fps_max 30 will give you 25fps avg, fps_max 60 will give you 45-55 fps. I hope you get how it works. Tested on Dust2 and Mirage (on mirage results are a bit better, but still bad as hell)

That is it. Sorry if there are any grammar mistakes. I did my best! (not native)

Guys, I'm insanely waiting for your suggestions! I WANT THIS TO BE FIXED xd.

UPD

  • The drop remains since the moment it appeared until pc reboot
