I just built a new pc about a month ago. My specs are as follows: r3 1300x @3.8 Evga gtx 960 ssc 2gb not overclocked 8gb ddr4 2400 CX550m Asrock b350 pro4 mobo 25es 60hz 1080p monitor
I have getting into fortnite, but when I get on, after about 2 hrs. the screen just goes black with the fans and everything still spinning. The monitor says no video input detected. After I restart the pc by holding the power button down to turn it off, this same thing happens again and again with shorter amounts of time in between each shutdown. Until I stop using my computer for a few hours does the cycle reset and it take a few more hours for it to happen again.
It mainly happens when I play fortnite, and that is the game I play most by far, but has happened a few times with other games. It only happens when I am playing games.
Any help much appreciated. It is so annoying to be in the heat of the game but then everything to go black.
