To start, I'd just like to say that I have a pretty good rig. i7-7700, GTX 1070, Windows 10, 16GB of ram. I got this computer (from Cyberpower) six months ago but now my computer has been completely crashing, blue screen and all, for the past month while I am in the middle of gaming. While most of the time it happens randomly, it also happens at specific points too.
In Rainbow Six Siege, it commonly (but not every time) crashes right when a game ends and it switches over to the winning team's victory poses. It's also crashed when playing Final Fantasy XV. Those are the only two games I have played in the past month though so they're the only ones that have crashed. UPDATE: Just tried to play Assassin's Creed Origins. This one doesn't crash my whole system but the game does crash and it crashes immediately unlike the other two which take a while to crash.
At first, Windows would just tell me that it was an unexpected crash but about a week into the issue it started giving me this error code: LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys. Which after looking it up I've found that it is because of my graphics card. NVIDIA has released two drivers since my computer started crashing so it doesn't seem like it's a software issue. I used FurMark as well and I wasn't overheating.
Is there anything else it could be other than the hardware itself? Is it looking like I am going to just have to send it in and have it replaced by CyberPower?
