When opening a new tab or clicking a link or anything along those lines, Chrome freezes. It often seems to freeze randomly for no apparent reason as well.
However, when causing an animation/graphic to display/change, such as hovering the mouse over a tab and having the tab's title box appear, Chrome works fine, but only during the event. It freezes immediately after I move my mouse away from the tab. Something on reddit seems to keep it un-frozen but only for a little bit. Switching to a different window and back causes it to be frozen again.
My typing persists, and I can see it visually update when making chrome un-freze for a moment. Sorry for typing errors.
I've tried shutting down some of my extensions, restarting computer, etc. The issue exists in incog as well. No other windows on my computer are having this issue as far as I know. It's just chrome.
Half of me just wants the issue fixed and the other half just wants to understand the cause of this issue. I'm very curious.

Edit: My best guess is its some function in chrome detecting inactive tabs and not rendering them, but its doing this to the tabs I am trying to use.
