Firstly, there is something in my list of programs called "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver", which apparently it has something to do with touchpads. I don't care what it does because I this program isn't installed on a laptop, it's on my desktop. I use a keyboard and mouse with my desktop and there's no touchpad connected to my desktop in any way.
Unless I somehow missed it, I don't think this program has been here before, so it must have gotten installed somehow (and I'm hoping it's not some sort of virus/malware).
When I try to uninstall it (I've tried uninstalling it through both Control Panel and Revo Uninstaller), it says:
"There was a problem starting C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynISDLL.dll
The specified module could not be found."
Something of note is that when I go into C:\Program Files, there is no folder named Synaptics (I even have Hidden Items checked). It's not in C:\Program Files (x86) either.
I've tried opening CMD as Admin and entering this:
DISM.EXE /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
and hitting enter, but I still can't uninstall the program...
Any help whatsoever is appreciated!
