Edit: Only physical components were transferred, the only new part was my computer tower. No file transfers.
Edit 2: SSD is completely unscathed by this. It has all its original files and nothing is different.
So I had a Cooler Master HAF 912, saw that the NZXT S340 Elite was on sale and went for it. Earlier today, I'm removing all of my PC parts, reinstalling them and making the cable management nice and tidy.
I have 1 SSD (Crucial 250GB) and 2 HDDs (WD Blue 1TB and Seagate 1TB). All of which were sitting on the table, never moving, never bumped, never anything while I worked on transferring everything.
I installed the HDDs in the HDD bay, put a few screws in to hold them tight and connected power and sata. Upon bootup, I get "to skip disk checking press any key" and proceeds to look for errors or repair the drive or something.
Finally, I get to the Windows 10 sign-in screen. The picture is not what I normally use, strange, I logon. My Corsair K65 keyboard doesn't have its normal color profile loaded and the program isn't in the taskbar, so I search for it in the start menu. Nada.
I go to file explorer, on my secondary HDD that had many programs installed, half the folders are gone. No "Program Files/x86" all of my Nvidia Shadowplay recordings are gone. As far as I can tell, all my games are still there.
As far as I can tell in Windows they are functioning fine and they aren't making any peculiar sounds.
One weird thing that I've noted is while the drive letters stayed the same, the HDDs names were switched but they had the correct contents based on the drive letter.
