I have a Dell XPS 13. I installed the latest Windows 10 update, 1709, two days ever since, my laptop is unable to sleep upon closing the lid. It always shuts down and needs to be booted back up when the lid is opened.
Before anyone suggests it, I've already checked my settings for "action taken when closing the lid" and it's already set to "sleep". Always has been.
Any ideas? Something similar happened before (slightly different, instead of shutting down it would just stay awake and drain battery when the lid was closed), and I believe the issue was a broken driver. All efforts to reinstall or revert the broken driver failed so I had to send my laptop in for repair, and it worked for about a year until this update broke it again.
