Description of problem
After several Windows 10 updates being done one of them suddenly crashed at about 82%. Now when I try to start the computer it gets to the Windows 10 logo, then when it realizes it's not starting it does the "tries to reset to previous version" but at that point it just crashes and does it all over again.
I'm not able to get into safe mode either. I did create a recovery USB booted into that and tried the startup repair options, didn't work either. When I used CMD and tried some different commands I've seen from different guides it didn't even detect any Windows 10 installed. This is troubling me.
I have 1 HDD, with two partitions. C where Windows is installed and D where I have files and whatnot. I'm fine with reinstalling/resetting Windows as long as it only affects the C partition. I do not want to compromise D at all!
The only options I see on the recovery page just say that ALL files will be removed, is this true or not? How can I fix this issue? Any way as long as it doesn't compromise D partition.

Using commands in CMD from recovery drive. No luck.Startup repair from recovery. No luck either.
