So I dropped my 2TB Seagate drive awhile back and noticed it no longer runs when plugged in. I'm pretty sure the head is simply stuck on the platter, and since Seagate wants to charge $650 to fix it, I figured I could try myself. The only issue is that after opening the external case the interior case is locked up with the tiniest star screws and I cannot find anything that will get them out.
