However, recently, when I restart the laptop, the login screen's resolution is off (blurry), and upon logging in, the Monitor (display 2) shows a blank screen with nothing but the mouse cursor. The desktop has reverted to show on Laptop display (display 1), which is still turned off. So suddenly the displays are extended by automatically without my permission, with the laptop display becoming main (although invisible) and the monitor secondary.
I have to manually go to display settings and press "extend display" etc, to turn on the laptop screen, and then reconfigure to show only on display 2 to go back to the way it was. This didn't happen until recently.
Any ideas as to what the cause may be?
