I got this laptop in September of last year, and it worked well for about a month before there was a hardware failure that caused it to be unusable.
I sent it in, got it back and it was working, but struggling with high memory usage. I was able to fix the memory issue on my own, but also had some random memory spikes after supposedly fixing it. I then tried to game. Anytime I played a game on the graphics card (1050ti) it would crash after 2 or 3 minutes. Running the games on integrated graphics was ugly, but still worked.
After getting in contact with their customer service, they gave me all different solutions, all ineffective. I also asked why there are more issues after getting it back from repair, to which they responded with solutions which did not make sense. I asked if I could send it in for repairs, where my request was 'honored' but they were insistent on finding a solution (after being on email, text, and call with them for 10+ hours).
Now today, I have gotten my laptop back, and literally nothing has changed about the performance of the laptop. It still has high memory, and games crash when using the 1050ti.
I'm not sure where to go from here, but I am potentially trying to get a refund/return of the laptop so I can move myself away from this piece of shit company Dell.
