My headphones are Sony MDRV6 . Myspeakers are HP BR367AA. I cannot detect my headphones on my computer, instead all that is shown in the "Sound" window by right clicking the volume icon is my speakers I have attached.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
I have updated all my audio drivers and have googled many different options. My motherboard comes with "SoundBlaster 3Di" audio which has many and multiple settings but nothing like the Realtek audio software setting "Enable Multi-playback Streaming". Only my speakers are visually represented on my computer however when I plug in my headphones they then begin playing audio rather than the speakers, for me to play audio through my speakers I need to plug out my headphones once again. I would like an easier way to swap between audio outputs when rather than constantly plugging in & out my headphones each time.
I have attempted to download the Realtek software however it failed when installing and so I am left with the "SoundBlaster 3Di" software instead.
Under the "Sound" menu I have enable display of disabled devices and still there are no headphones.
Is there anyway to split the audio between the headphones and speakers rather than having them as one entity?
