I have an old computer, it's an acer x1800 from 2009 that's running on Windows 7. In the last month or so it has been starting to freeze and took multiple tries just to sign in. A few days ago it kinda shat out and when turned on for a few seconds it sits on what looks like this but with del=enter setup and f12=boot menu on the bottom left. Then it goes to this exact screen with the same 0xc000000f error code but the info line says "The boot selection failed because a required device in inaccessible." Hitting ENTER or ESC just resets the computer.
I don't have the installation disc so what should I do? I'm trying to look up solutions but am just getting confused. I have my laptop and a 32GB USB stick if I can download anything on it to fix this.
I mostly just need to get it on so my dad and I can back up our stuff on it. We need a new desktop anyways but a way to get it working a bit longer would be appreciated!
